This year, classes at George Washington Academy begin on Monday, August 23

That also marks the beginning of our kindergarten assessment period, which continues through the end of the week.  Other things to watch for are:

Special Dates

• Back to school night -- 6:30 PM on Wednesday, August 25
• Kindergarten Meet and Greet -- 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 26th The first day of school for kinders will be August 30.

• GWA Board Meeting -- Thursday, August 26th, at the school. 

Carpool (drop-off & pick-up)

Every family shoud have received instructions regarding drop-off and pick-up procedures.  Please review them together before school, and set up a spot to meet so you'll be able to find each other at the end of the day.  This is a change from the way it was done last year, so it may take a few days to work out any kinks.  Everyone's patience and cooperation are appreciated.
