Food Service/Kitchen Staff (Part-Time 29 hours per week max)

George Washington Academy is currently looking to hire a Part-Time Food Service/ Kitchen Staff for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will work in our kitchen, helping with cooking and food preparation, supervising students during breakfast, and cleaning up after. Attendance, cleanliness, and detailed fast-paced work are extremely important. Will need to have physical strength (carry bulky objects of up to 50 pounds with or without assistance), and the agility to pull, push, squat, twist, turn and lift. Prefer someone with basic knowledge of cooking procedures, but not required. The available hours will be Monday–Friday 7:30am-2:00pm with a max of 29 hours per week. Will be required to obtain a Food Handlers Permit. Pay starts at $18.23 per hour. All employees are required to pass a BCI background check. All employees are required to pass a BCI background check.
