Shannon Greer

Shannon Greer has served on the George Washington Academy Board since May 2010 and currently serves as Board Chair. She also serves on the Finance and Board Development Committees. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University and previously taught in the Nebo and Tintic School Districts. In addition to her board service, Shannon is the Director of Training for the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools and teaches in the Seminary and Institute program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
With extensive experience in education, governance, and board development, she is dedicated to maintaining GWA’s strong academic programming, including its emphasis on fine arts, physical education, and character education. Her long-standing service reflects her deep commitment to the school’s mission and continued
excellence.

Casey unrein

Casey Unrein has served on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy since July 2021 and is currently serving his second three-year term. He serves on the Finance, Policy, and Board Development
Committees, supporting the school’s long-term financial strength and governance practices. Casey brings more than 20 years of experience in financial management, operations, and nonprofit capacity
building. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics for Business Management and an MBA from IE Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). As owner and manager of ByAnnie.com, an
e-commerce and B2B company, he specializes in financial stewardship, operational systems, and sustainable
growth strategies. As a GWA parent, Casey values the school’s strong academic focus and character education program. He is
dedicated to ensuring GWA remains financially sound and strategically positioned to serve families for years to
come.

Brady Pearce

Brady Pearce Brady Pearce joined the George Washington Academy Board in November 2023. He served in the United
States Air Force from 2000–2006, including deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq. After returning to St. George, he built a career in real estate and leadership. Brady holds a Utah Real Estate Broker license and has
served as a Sales Manager, Principal Broker/Owner, and Project Manager. He currently serves as Division Manager for Perry Homes in Southern Utah and as Branch Broker for Perry Realty. Brady brings executive leadership experience, operational management expertise, and strong community ties to his board service. As the spouse of a long-time educator and a parent of current and future GWA students, he is deeply committed to the school’s academic focus and positive culture. He is dedicated to supporting
GWA’s mission and ensuring continued success for students and families..

Laura Pressley

Laura Pressley has served on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy since November 2023 and brings a background in law, governance, and strategic communications to her service at George Washington Academy. She practiced law in Salt Lake City with Snell & Wilmer, where she focused on complex legal matters requiring strategic analysis and clear communication. Prior to her legal career, she worked in litigation communications with global public relations firms and later taught business law as an adjunct professor at Utah Valley University. Laura earned her Juris Doctor from the J. Reuben Clark Law School and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University. Her professional expertise strengthens the board’s policy development, compliance oversight, and governance practices. She is committed to supporting GWA’s mission and ensuring sound leadership for the school community.

Laura Snelson

Laura Snelson has served on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy since November 2023 and brings extensive experience in higher education, strategic planning, and program evaluation to her service at George Washington Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Cusco, Peru, and later completed a master’s degree in Educational Leadership Foundations and a doctorate in Instructional Psychology and Technology from Brigham Young University.
Laura served in higher education for more than 15 years, specializing in planning, evaluation, and assessment. She currently works in the Seminaries and Institutes program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, focusing on strategic planning and program evaluation. As a parent and grandparent, she is a strong
advocate for education and lifelong learning. Her commitment to GWA is grounded in her belief in the school’s
academic excellence and leadership capacity, and she is dedicated to supporting its continued success.

sharna rowe

Sharna Rowe has served on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy since July of 2025. She is the CEO and founder of Runway Fashion Exchange, a boutique resale brand with nine locations operating for more than 12 years, and Confetti Kids Club, an indoor play and party concept. With a degree in Engineering from Southern Utah University, Sharna brings a systems-oriented and analytical approach to leadership, growth, and long-term planning. She is experienced in developing scalable training programs, operational systems, and high-performing teams. As a board member, Sharna is committed to ensuring GWA remains a sustainable, mission-driven organization that delivers strong academic outcomes for students. As a parent and community leader, she is invested in GWA’s continued growth and its impact on future generations.

Miguel D. Muñoz

Miguel D. Muñoz has served on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy since March 2026. He is an attorney whose practice focuses on business and corporate law, advising clients on complex transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, financing, and commercial litigation. Miguel brings extensive experience in strategic planning, risk management, contract negotiation, and organizational governance. He earned his Juris Doctor from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, an LL.M. in International Taxation from Texas A&M University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Utah Tech University. Miguel is licensed to practice law in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas and is recognized for providing practical, strategic counsel to businesses operating in complex legal and regulatory environments. His legal expertise and experience in corporate governance strengthen the board's oversight and long-term planning efforts. As a board member, Miguel is committed to supporting George Washington Academy's mission by promoting sound governance, thoughtful decision-making, and educational excellence for students and families.

Ericka Ivie

Ericka Ivie begins her service on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy in July 2026. She brings a professional background in higher education, having served as a Financial Aid Director, Registrar, and Director of Student Services. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources. Throughout her career, Ericka has supported student success by helping families navigate
educational opportunities, coordinating campus-wide events, and connecting students with the resources they
need to thrive. As a parent of four children attending George Washington Academy, Ericka has experienced firsthand the
positive impact the school has had on her family. She is actively involved through the Give Me Liberty program and is passionate about supporting GWA’s strong academic environment and close-knit community. With a deep commitment to education and student success, Ericka is dedicated to serving students, families, and faculty while helping ensure the continued growth and success of George Washington Academy.

David Stillman

David Stillman begins his service on the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy in July 2026. He is a Senior Asset Manager with NAI Excel, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets across Utah, Southern Nevada, and Texas. With more than 15 years of experience in commercial real
estate, finance, asset management, and business development, David brings expertise in strategic planning, financial stewardship, budgeting, capital planning, and organizational growth. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and a master’s degree from Berklee College of Music. In addition to his professional role, David is an active commercial real estate investor and business owner with experience in acquisitions, private investment, and long-term portfolio growth. His background combines financial discipline, operational leadership, entrepreneurial experience, and creative problem-solving. As a board member, David is committed to supporting George Washington Academy through sound governance, thoughtful financial oversight, and strategic planning that will help strengthen the school and serve students and families for years to come.

Sadie Carter

Sadie Carter is a proud Southern Utah native and serves as the Board Clerk for George Washington Academy. She is the mother of a son entering third grade at GWA and chose the school for its exceptional academics, strong values, and supportive community. Having experienced the positive impact GWA has had on her own family, Sadie is passionate about giving back and helping the school continue to thrive. She is honored to support a community that is dedicated to helping every student learn, grow, and succeed.
