Special Education Teacher Mild/Moderate (2026-2027 School Year)

George Washington Academy is currently looking to hire a Full-Time Special Education Teacher for one of our mild/moderate classes for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for the creation, implementation, and revision of Individualized Education Plans of each assigned student. This includes the development of IEP goals, collecting data/evidence of goal progression, and recommending necessary changes. As determined by the IEP, the Special Education Teacher may be responsible for providing specialized instruction in the core subjects in a self-contained, pull-out setting, and/or supporting the teaching of these subjects in the Regular Ed classroom. Applicants must have a current Utah teaching license with a Special Education endorsement. Yearly salary range is $66,447 - $78,947, dependent upon education and experience.
